I never thought that I would be saying that my new home would be in Denver, CO. But when I noticed that my satellite office in Denver was doing more business than any other area of my company, it became clear that I needed to seriously consider a relocation. So, the first thing that I did was to get with my accountant and figure out just what I would need to do in order to relocate my home office in Colorado. As it turns out, the moving labor service expense was going to be less than I had originally imagined!

So I set about gathering up the information that I needed in order to budget for the move. This meant that I fist had to determine the cost of the packing supplies and the cost of the subsequent transportation. I  knew that this wouldn’t be too difficult, since part of my responsibilities have always included ordering supplies for my business via the Internet. So I headed on over to my computer and began my search for the supplies that I knew that I would need. After checking out several moving supply sites, I determined who I wanted to do business with.

The best way to go about this is to first check out the prices that are advertised on the various websites for moving supply boxes and other items that will be needed in order to pack up the more sensitive items.We had a lot of computer equipment that was being supervised by our resident engineer. He was responsible for making sure that we didn’t lose any valuable information as a result of damage to the computer hard drives. His job was to determine the best way to pack the PCs.

Some of our items were also  located in climate controlled storage facilities, as well. So we had a specialist determine the best way to ship those items. In addition to all of this, my family and I had to get ready to move from our apartment. This meant that all of my household furniture and valuables needed to be packed and moved to our new home in Denver. This added a bit to the stress. but after finding a good moving company, a lot of that stress was alleviated. Throughout all of this, the Internet saved us a lot of time and trouble!
