If anyone had told me that I would be relocating to Colorado, I would have laughed. But that all changed when my company needed a new sales manager in Colorado. This specifically meant that a Denver neighborhood relocation was in my near future. Now, at first glance, this may seem to be major hassle to some. However, this was not the case for me. I had visited Denver on many occasions and had remarked, more than once, that Denver was the place that I wanted to move and subsequently live.
Now I had my chance to live in a beautiful city with access to some of the best skiing in the world. This was a dream of mine and now it was coming true. But I had one major hurdle to jump. I needed to find the right family company to help us get to our destination. I had already decided that this was the most important thing for me to tackle before I did anything else. And I was going to go about this in the most methodical way that I knew how. That meant a trip to the Internet.
I think the thing that helped me out the most was doing a search for solid moving company reviews that emphasized whether or not the company was “family friendly”. This can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. To me, it means a Denver packer and mover that understands family concerns and fears. It means some of the little “extras” that are appreciated, such as providing some background information of the things that a new home has to offer. Of even something as simple as a reassuring word to a child. These are the things that customers write about in an online review.
So, these were the things that I looked for in the moving boxes and company reviews that I read. It didn’t take me long to determine the companies that customers appreciated as opposed to the companies that I would rather avoid. When you add that to competitive pricing, you have a winning combination. The company that I eventually hired had all the right kind of family friendly reviews and I felt good about my initial talk with them. They even gave us some valuable information regarding our new Denver home. That’s the type of “extras” that I was talking about.
